Dennis Miller returns to The Orleans Showroom28 September 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Five-time Emmy Award winner and comedy legend Dennis Miller will return to The Orleans Showroom on 28 and 29 October. Miller has been a staple on the comedy circuit for more than 30 years. He emerged on the national scene in the 1980s on NBC's "Saturday Night Live," where he was best recognized as the main correspondent on the long-running segment "Weekend Update." After leaving SNL in 1991, Miller moved to HBO, where he hosted the critically acclaimed talk show "Dennis Miller Live" for nine seasons. He is a regular on the FOX News program "The O'Reilly Factor" and also served as host and executive producer of CNBC's "Dennis Miller." Miller has also appeared in many feature films, including "Joe Dirt," "Thank You for Smoking," "What Happens in Vegas" and "The Campaign." A distinguished author, Miller's "rant" books have been on The New York Times best-sellers list and include "The Rant Zone," "I Rant, Therefore I Am," "Ranting Again" and "The Rants." His conservative radio talk show, "The Dennis Miller Show," ran for eight years before coming to an end in 2015. Miller has been recognized with three Writers Guild of America Award (WGA) wins for "Dennis Miller Live" as well as an additional WGA Award for his 1997 HBO special, "Dennis Miller: Citizen Arcane." He also wrote and starred in the 2003 Emmy Award-nominated cable comedy special, "The Raw Feed."
