Delaware House committee votes not to expand casinos25 March 2011DELAWARE -- A House Gaming Committee voted yesterday not to consider any new casinos, WGMD Radio reported. However, the matter may not end here, as the Democratic Majority Leader may find enough support to bring the legislation directly to the house floor, WGMD explained. Like many states, Delaware is considering expanded gaming as a means to boost its economy, WGMD said. |
