Debate Over West Virginia Gambling Parlor Name

WEST VIRGINIA – As reported by the WBOY News: "It seemed like the logical name to owner JC Voithofer. His video lottery parlor is located just down the street from the Monongalia County Courthouse. He named his business the 'Courthouse Café' so customers would know where to find it.

"But one county commissioner isn't very happy that the courthouse's name is being associated with the gambling parlor. John Pyles says he wants Voithofer to change the name of his business. Pyles says most of the public doesn't have a particularly positive view on gambling parlors. He doesn't want people to think the real courthouse is associated with the cafe.

"Voithofer says he's willing to work with Pyles to come up with a solution to the problem…"
