DC Gambling Supporters Want Slots On Nov. Ballot5 July 2006WASHINGTON, DC -- As reported by NBC4.com: "Gambling supporters are trying to get a referendum on the November ballot to legalize slot machines in D.C. "...Supporters of the initiative are rushing to collect nearly 19,000 valid signatures of voters in D.C. by July 10 to put a slots measure on the Nov. 7 general election ballot.
