Following his retirement from the tours, Feherty became an on-course reporter and golf analyst earning his own show in the Golf Channel with his sharp wit and personality. Feherty debuted in 2011 and over the course of five seasons, he interviewed well-known golf loving personalities including former United States President Bill Clinton, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, five-time NBA MVP Bill Russell, comedic genius Larry David, and actors Samuel L. Jackson and Don Cheadle. He was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2014 for “Outstanding Sports Personality, Studio Host.” “David Feherty not only brings keen insight to the game of golf that his audience loves and appreciates, he brings the game to life with hilarious commentary about tour personalities and offers a glimpse behind the curtain for all golf enthusiasts that follow the tour and the game. This is a show with something for everyone, even if they have never picked up a club,” said Joe Grande, Assistant General Manager at Ocean Resort Casino. Feherty received rave reviews for his show on the Golf Channel by media outlets such as the New York Times and has been called one of the “funniest men in the game.” |
