Danes spend more on gambling in June 20246 August 2024(PRESS RELEASE) -- In June 2024, the Danes' gambling spend in the areas of betting, online casinos, slot machines and land-based casinos amounted to DKK 703 million. This is an increase of 37%, compared to June 2023. During the period, there has been an increase in gambling spend for all four areas. The overall increase in the period is mainly driven by an increase in the gambling spend of bets, although it should be noted that the repayment proportion for bets was lower in June 2024 compared to June 2023.
