Dan Colman takes King of the Hill title at SugarHouse Casino30 October 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- In a made-for-television event, Dan Colman won the third iteration of the King of the Hill (KOTH) invitational hosted this week at SugarHouse Casino. Colman defeated Brandon Adams two games to none in the best-of-three final to win the $200,000 top prize. The KOTH format is a heads-up bracketed competition that has four players putting up $50,000 each, with the winner earning the entire prize pool. Colman defeated KOTH II winner Olivier Busquet in the semi-finals, while Adams beat World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Scott Blumstein in the other semi-final. "Poker Night in America" was onsite to capture the action, which was live streamed on Twitch and recorded to air on CBS Sports Network. "Comedian Brad Garrett and WSOP champion Scott Blumstein are just two more examples of well-known players who are eager to play at SugarHouse Casino," said Matt Glantz, SugarHouse poker room ambassador. "The relationship between 'Poker Night in America' and SugarHouse continues to be a great partnership." |
