Dafa Poker sending players to WSOP8 April 2011(PRESS RELEASE) -- The grandest event in the realm of poker will officially take off next month. Poker players from more than 115 different nations will converge and compete in the 42nd annual World Series of Poker (WSOP). Destination? Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. In front of ESPN cameras; with more than 70,000 entrants competing for more than $180,000,000 in prize money and poker’s most prized possession—a WSOP bracelet, this event promises to be a two-month spectacle of luck, skills and determination. The event will officially kick off on Tuesday, May 31 and will continue daily, while the main event will begin on July 7, Thursday. Registrations for the WSOP can be done in several ways. The most common way would be to show up at the Rio Convention Center, where the event will take place, and proceed to buy-in. Registration is open 24 hours a day from May 30 until July 10. Here is how you can win your place: Join “WSOP Warrior Master League” events found at Dafapoker’s official website and also in a dedicated tab in the poker lobby. Join a series of 8 MTT tournaments and finish in the highest possible place. There are 3 leagues with which a warrior can choose to begin their quest. To conquer the Warrior Master League, players will compete in 6-8 different NL Hold’em events (Depending on the league). The top 50% of registered players who accumulated the highest number of leaderboard points after the events can proceed to the WSOP Warrior Grand Final that will be held on May 24th. The 10 highest ranked players in the end will each win WSOP packages, while the ultimate warrior will win the “WSOP Warrior Package” worth $20,000! Registration for the promo event can be done by either direct registration, by token, or by qualifying through the WSOP Warrior League satellite promotion. Players cannot qualify twice to the WSOP Warrior Super League. Once a player has qualified, he’ll be automatically registered to the WSOP Warrior League tournament. Registrations are open from April 1st at 00:00:00 GMT until May 8th at 17:00:00 GMT only. Another way to get a seat for WSOP is playing any of the Satellites, Sit n Go’s and qualifiers in the Dafapoker lobby.
