D.C. Slot Opponents: Petitions are Frauds

WASHINGTON, D.C. – As reported by the NBC News: "A group opposed to bringing slot machines to the Washington area has claimed signatures on petition forms are frauds, News4 reported

"…Earlier this month, supporters of a plan to bring gambling to D.C. said about 50,000 people signed petitions.

"…A community group says some of the signatures were forged, some of the addresses were copied out of the phone book and some of the signatures are from people who are not registered to vote in the district…"
