Cyberstud Poker

12 November 2009

The World Series of Poker wrapped up this week, with 21-year-old Joe Cada making history as the Main Event champion. If you're still in a poker type of mood, head over to Casino Action and play its "Cyberstud Poker" game.

"Cyberstud Poker" is a table game between you and the dealer. It is played with a single standard deck of 52 cards that is shuffled before each game.

You are dealt five cards and the dealer is dealt one card. An ante is automatically thrown into the pot. The object of the game is to complete the game with the strongest hand. You can choose to call or fold when you receive your cards.

The lowest qualifying hand is Ace-King. The dealer must get at least an Ace-King combination or higher to qualify. If the dealer's hand does not qualify, you are paid your bet and double your ante, regardless of the value of your hand.

If the dealer qualifies and you still beat him, your payout depends on the strength of your hand. For example, if you win with two pair, you get paid 2 to 1. However, if you win with a flush, you get paid 10 to 1.

"Cyberstud Poker" is an easy game that is a good mix of skill and luck. If you're trying to kill time between each Joe Cada suckout, go to Casino Action and have a seat.
