CULINARY NEWS: LAGASSE'S STADIUM CELEBRATES THE VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS PLAYOFFS Lagasse's Stadium by Chef Emeril Lagasse celebrates Las Vegas' first major league sports team with a special hockey menu dedicated to the Golden Knights. Mercato della Pescheria, located in Grand Canal Shoppes, is highlighting their grilled octopus this May. Cooked to perfection on a Josper grill, guests can enjoy octopus with olive aioli, confit fingerling potatoes and fennel. A modern Pisco Sour for the urban Pisco Sour drinker, the SAMBA SOUR is made with Pisco Brandy and maraschino liqueur shaken hard with yuzu, egg white and sugar syrup infused with turmeric, served 'up.' WORLD WHISKEY DAY - 19 MAY: SUSHISAMBA SUSHISAMBA is proud to offer one of the largest Japanese Whisky collections in Las Vegas. These delicate tasting Whiskies modeled after the scotch tradition-double distilling malted and/or peated barley before it's aged in wood barrels - have been shaped by three men commonly referred to as Founding Fathers of Japanese Whisky: Shinjiro Torii of Suntory, Masataka Taketsuru of Nikka and Kiichiro Iwai of Mars.
