Cuban Show Cast Seeking US Asylum15 November 2004LAS VEGAS -- As reported by the BBC: "Members of a Cuban theatre troupe performing in Las Vegas have announced they are defecting to the US. "The 43 dancers, singers and musicians are submitting their asylum requests to authorities on Monday, said the show's director Nicole Durr. "The group, who are performing the Havana Night Club show, fought red tape to be allowed into the country.
