Crown Royal Poker Room offers enhanced promotions at Dover Downs17 October 2013DOVER, Delaware -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Dover Downs Hotel & Casino announces new poker promotions, more cash prizes and enhanced player services for the fall/winter season in the Crown Royal Poker Room. During the NFL season, the poker room broadcasts NFL Sunday Ticket in HD and features Texas Hold’em high-hand and splash pot promotions on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays when NFL games are being played. The player with the high hand for each quarter will be awarded $50 in chips. The table on which the player is seated will receive a $50 splash pot for the next hand dealt. The Royal Flush promotion has been upgraded with prizes of $50 to $500 in chips, depending on suit. Odd Quads offers a player with quad 3s, 5s, 7s or 9s the opportunity to win the progressive jackpot, which begins at $25 and grows daily until hit. A $300 high hand promotion runs Monday at 3 a.m. until Friday at 7 a.m. Free Wi-Fi and phone charging stations are now available for player convenience, along with tableside food service from open restaurants on property. Tournament players are now rated the same as cash players, earning four points per hour of play. Also recently added is a Ladies Free Roll on Sundays at 7:15 p.m., with $250 prize pool. The special holiday Toys For Tots Tournament will occur on Saturday, Dec. 7, beginning at 1:15 p.m., for a $1,000 minimum prize pool; $45 buy in. Players who bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to the Toys For Tots campaign will be given 6,000 bonus tournament chips. |
