Crown pushes on Barangaroo casino

NEW SOUTH WALES, Australia -- Crown Entertainment is advocating hard for its proposed Barangaroo hotel and casino resort, the Sydney Morning Herald is reporting.

Company representatives have met with the NSW government to update and discuss on the proposal, the report said.

Crown, who were awarded a license to run a VIP-only casino, want to build a casino, hotel and apartments on the Barangaroo South site, according to the Sydney Morning Herald report.
