Crown Casino Infractions Exposed

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Age: "Crown Casino has been found to be in the wrong in six complaints over the conduct of gaming in the past year, while more than 100 breaches of exclusion orders have been recorded, the casino's watchdog has reported.

"The casino was also issued a letter of censure from the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation last week regarding internal changes made by a Crown employee that meant "taxable revenue was understated and gaming taxes underpaid".

"…The regulatory commission's annual report, released last week, said casino patrons lodged 70 complaints related to the conduct of gaming in the casino; 62 were dismissed, 'six complaints resolved in favour of the patron' and one was still under investigation.

"…Crown has refused to provide details on the complaints. Crown spokesman Gary O'Neill said the casino had 7 to 8 million players a year and millions of hands of cards were dealt.
