Croupiers Reveal Scam

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Sydney Morning Herald: "Three croupiers have revealed how greed, boredom and frustration at seeing gamblers lose drove them to conspire to cheat Melbourne's Crown casino.

"The men, who have been sacked by Crown, admitted they accepted cash inducements from a gambler in return for paying him on losing bets.

"They were targeted by the Victoria Police casino squad and casino operatives, who studied surveillance tapes after reports of dealers colluding with patrons.

"…The croupiers, who dealt mostly at baccarat tables, said they met the gambler after work, when they were paid…"
