Cricket: Chairman of Pakistan cricket board adds his own accusations

20 September 2010

LONDON, England -- Accusations continue to fly in the cricket betting crisis, according to The Guardian.

Now the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Iijaz Butt, has accused English cricket players of accepting money and deliberating losing last Friday's one day international against Pakistan, The Guardian said.

The match was lost by 23 runs, The Guardian noted.

These new accusations come amid a recent scandal that saw several Pakistan cricket players investigated for match fixing, The Guardian reported.
