Creedence Clearwater Revisited at Blue Chip30 May 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Creedence Clearwater Revisited play the hit songs that were the touchstone of an era and are attracting new generations of fans on Saturday, 14 July at 8 p.m. in the Stardust Event Center at Blue Chip Casino, Hotel & Spa, 777 Blue Chip Drive, Michigan City, Indiana. Tickets, priced at $40, $60 and $75, go on sale Saturday, 9 June at 10 a.m. and are available at online or in the Blue Chip Gift Box in the Blue Chip Casino pavilion. Guests must be 21 or older, with a valid state or government issued photo ID. The band, featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Famers and Creedence Clearwater Revival founding members Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford, will cover hits such as “Susie Q,” “Born on the Bayou,” “Proud Mary,” “Down on the Corner,” “Fortunate Son,” “Who’ll Stop the Rain” and many more. Creedence Clearwater Revival’s distinctive swamp rock went against the grain of 60s psychedelic San Francisco, winning a worldwide audience and numerous gold and multi-platinum singles and albums. The band disbanded in 1972; founding and new members got together in 1995 to play CCR’s iconic hits in concert around the world. The band reissued a live double CD, Recollection, in 2003. |
