Courts Reject Fired Trooper's Case

MICHIGAN CITY, Indiana – As reported by the WNDU-TV: "The Supreme Court has rejected an appeal former Indiana state trooper Ben Endres, who was fired for refusing to work at a casino in Michigan City.

"Endres is Baptist and said the gambling enforcement assignment would force him to violate his religious beliefs. He wanted the Supreme Court to use his case to require law enforcement agencies to accommodate the religious views of employees…"
