Courts Reject California Casino Case

CALIFORNIA – As reported by the Sacramento Bee: "The U.S. Supreme Court has refused without comment to consider a Placer County citizens group's challenge of Thunder Valley Casino.

"…The cities of Roseville and Rocklin had been a part of the lawsuit to close the casino, alleging the federal government failed to consider a casino's impact on surrounding communities when it granted reservation status to the site. But the cities dropped out of the lawsuit late last year. The citizens group continued the action…"
