Counselling Service Claims ATM Locations Fuel Problem Gambling

AUSTRALIA -- As reported by ABC Riverina: ``A gambling counselling service claims the close proximity of automatic teller machines (ATM) to gambling venues is fuelling problem gambling in the Riverina.

``Best Bet Counselling spokesman Cliff Banks says the New South Wales Government is considering placing restrictions on the operation of ATMs in or near hotels.

``He says the changes would include ensuring patrons can only make one daily withdrawal from ATMs in gambling venues..."
