Cosmopolitan says it regrets transgendered guest eviction29 April 2011LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- The Cosmopolitan Casino Resort says it regrets that a transgendered patron was treated poorly and evicted from its premises, according to a LGBTQ Nation report. The guest was removed on exiting the women's bathroom, photographed and told she was banned from the property, the report explained. The Cosmopolitan said it will "focus on continued training and ongoing awareness initiatives", but the guest Stephanie described the casino's apology as mere "damage control", The LGBTQ Nation report said. |
