Construction to begin on MGM National Harbor in coming weeks

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Maryland -- MGM National Harbor casino resort has been approved by the Prince George County Council, according to the Washington Business Journal.

The report says that the decision was overwhelming despite outstanding traffic concerns.

The resort is due to open July 2016 and construction will commence in the next few weeks on the $1 billion casino-resort, the Washington Business Journal reported.
