Conrad Jupiters to revamp rooms

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Gold Coast Bulletin: "Conrad Jupiters will spend $16 million sprucing up its 442 hotel rooms which have remained virtually unchanged since the casino's opening 21 years ago.

"The revamp comes on top of the $53 million that its owner, wagering giant Tabcorp, has spent on a new gaming floor, balconies, restaurant and two bars.

"The work will start in June and should be finished before the end of the year. The hotel lobby and lift areas also will be upgraded.

"…Jupiters Limited managing director Xavier Walsh said the upgraded hotel rooms would set a new standard on the Coast.

"…Conrad Jupiters hotel general manager Vince King said the upgrade represented Tabcorp's strong commitment to the Gold Coast…"
