Community Colleges Expected To Offer Casino Management Courses

MISSISSIPPI -- As reported by the Sun Herald: ``The chairman of the House Gaming Committee said he expects Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Pearl River Community College will offer courses in casino and resort management that tie in with a degree program that will start in the fall at the University of Southern Mississippi.

``Rep. Bobby Moak, D-Bogue Chitto, made his comments during a day-long conference at the University of Mississippi School of Law that discussed issues affecting the state's casino industry.

``…The state college board last week approved the casino and resort management courses, which will be part of a bachelor's degree program at USM…"
