Comedian Iliza Shlesinger coming to Mohegan Sun on Feb. 56 January 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- The only female and youngest comedian to hold the title of NBC'S Last Comic Standing and Netflix fan-favorite, Iliza Shlesinger will bring her national FREEZING HOT tour to Mohegan Sun for one show on Friday, Feb. 5 at 8 p.m. in Mohegan Sun's Uncas Ballroom. Tickets are $45 and $25 are currently on sale through Ticketmaster. Tickets are also available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. Iliza Shlesinger holds nothing back during her show, which features her sharp and sexy take on life. Originally from Dallas, Iliza moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Emerson College. In 2013 her debut one hour comedy special, War Paint reached #1 on the iTunes charts and was named one of the “Top Ten Albums of 2013” on iTunes. It is currently available on Netflix. Her follow up Netflix Original Comedy Special Freezing Hot premiered to rave reviews in January 2015. She was the host of CBS's syndicated comedy dating show Excused, in which she filmed 230 episodes. Iliza, will host TBS' exciting new game show, Separation Anxiety, premiering in spring 2016. Additional TV credits include multiple appearances on NBC'S Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, TBS' Deal With It, Comedy Central Presents, Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, E! Network's Chelsea Lately and The Soup, NBC'S Last Call with Carson Daily, TBS' Who Gets The Last Laugh? and Showtime's Pauly Shore and Friends and Bridging The Gap Comedy Festival. She is featured in the comedy documentary I Am Comic. Her live stand-up résumé also includes performing at the coveted Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, hundreds of clubs and colleges, and in various countries for our troops overseas. Iliza loves the troops and was honored to participate in The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff's personal USO Tour throughout the Middle East and Europe. |
