Colorado casino numbers up

COLORADO – As reported by the Denver Business Journal: "Colorado casinos continued to roll sevens in September when it came to revenue.

"Last month's adjusted gross proceeds (AGP) for casinos jumped 9.7 percent to $69.8 million from $63.6 million for the same period last year, according to the Colorado Division of Gaming. September's AGP increased 1.5 percent from $68.8 million in August.

"So far this year, the state's 47 casinos have brought in $212.8 million in revenue.

"…As usual, the town of Black Hawk's 21 casinos accounted for most of the state's gaming revenue in September, with $48.7 million in AGP. Black Hawk neighbor Central City, with seven gaming establishments, reported $7 million in AGP.

"The 19 casinos in Cripple Creek, located near Colorado Springs, raked in $14 million in revenue…"
