College student wins millions

UNCASVILLE, Connecticut -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Looking for a reason to visit Mohegan Sun? Shana Kelley, the latest multi-million dollar winner from Somerville, Massachusetts, can give you at least 3.5 million.

During a family visit over President's Day weekend, the 21-year-old college student decided to test her luck at her favorite slot machine, a Progressive Wheel of Fortune Special Edition. After investing $100.00, Kelley hit it big, winning just over $3.5 million.

"I did not realize I won millions, I thought it was thousands," said Kelley. "I started to shake, [my] mom was going nuts!" Kelley plans to finish college and will invest part of her new-found fortune in a home.

Kelley's win was the third jackpot of the month and is currently the largest payout of the year.
