Coco Poker Open at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek scheduled for Sept. 25-Oct. 612 August 2014(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Coco Poker Open will begin a 12-day run at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Thursday, September 25, at 7 p.m. in the Pavilion. The $1 million guaranteed Coco Poker Open Championship, October 2-6, will feature three starting days, 30,000 in chips, and follows the popular structure from Seminole Casino Coconut Creek’s February tournament series. Players may buy into the $2,500 Championship, qualify through satellite events, or enter to win a seat by submitting their information on the casino’s web site between September 1 and September 30. Additionally, detailed information about the tournament (including satellite events) and property information may be obtained on the site. The Coco Poker Open is the kick off to the 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player-of-the-Year program, which is a tournament series that awards its top player a prize package valued at more than $30,000, including entries in to the most prestigious tournaments in the country. The series also includes satellite events taking place at four other Seminole Gaming properties – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, Seminole Casino Brighton and Seminole Casino Immokalee. |
