Closing Racetrack Leaves Greyhounds Homeless

OREGON – As reported by Turn To Ten News: "Dozens of dogs are in need of a new home after a greyhound racetrack in Oregon closes its doors.

"Dick Gage, president of the Oregon Greyhound Association, is trying to find homes for more than 50 greyhounds sitting in kennels at the Multnomah Greyhound Park.

"Magna Entertainment, which owns the park, has confirmed it will not renew its lease.

"…The average price for the greyhounds is about $175.
