Clinton campaign official Baker tried to thwart casino10 July 2015BOSTON -- Charles Baker, now a Clinton campaign official, attempted to previously prevent Wynn Resorts casino near Boston, Boston.com reported. Mr Baker allegedly sent a letter to the State Ethics Commission, which prompted an ethics investigation, the report said. Baker's letter is believed to have raised the issue of former gaming commission chairman Steve Crosby continuing to be involved in the casino licensing process and allegedly having ties to an investor in the land on which the casino was proposed, Boston.com reported. Baker's complaint was ultimately dismissed, the report noted. |
