Clay Walker to perform at Cherokee Casino

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Chart-topping singer and songwriter Clay Walker has scored four multi-platinum selling albums and two gold records, launching his sales well over the 5 million mark. On 3 August, the country music icon is set to perform an intimate concert at Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs.

Walker takes the stage inside the Qualla Ballroom at 9 p.m. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Tickets to the show are $35 and on sale now online and the hotel front desk.

Walker has been in the national spotlight since his debut single and has become known as one of the most successful country artists of the past decade.

He first topped the Billboard Country Singles chart in 1993 with “What’s It to You” and followed with his second consecutive No. 1 hit, “Live Until I Die.” His smooth evocative voice and energetic presence quickly established Walker as the latest Texas export to find national acclaim and a lengthy string of hits has followed.

The artist has charted 33 times on Billboard’s Singles Chart with fan favorites including, “Dreaming with my Eyes Open,” “If I Could Make a Living,” “This Woman and This Man” and “Rumor Has It.” Other favorites include 1995’s “Who Needs You Baby” and “Hypnotize the Moon” which both reached No. 2 on the Billboard charts; the 1996 No. 5 hit “Only on Days That End in Y;” and the 1998 single “Then What?”

Walker has released nine studio albums, five compilation albums, one Christmas album and an extended play.
