Cirque du Soleil’s Mad Apple coming to a close17 August 2026(PRESS RELEASE) -- Cirque du Soleil announced that Mad Apple, its genre-blending celebration of New York City nightlife at New York New York Hotel & Casino, will conclude its Las Vegas run on 5 September 2026. Tickets for all remaining performances are on sale now at MadAppleLV.com. Since opening on 12 May 2022, Mad Apple has welcomed more than 1.2 million guests, bringing together acrobatics, live music, dance, magic and for the first time in Cirque du Soleil history, stand-up comedy. It was the first production born out of a new collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and The Works Entertainment Group. "Mad Apple introduced stand-up comedy to a Cirque du Soleil resident show for the first time, and its blend of acrobatics and humor was the right combination to lead us out of the pandemic," said Mark Cornell, CEO of Cirque du Soleil "We thank the cast, crew, and creative team and every guest who joined us at New York-New York, and we remain focused on the next chapter of our Las Vegas portfolio." Cirque du Soleil will continue to present four resident productions in Las Vegas: Mystère at Treasure Island, “O” at Bellagio, KÀ at MGM Grand, and Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay. The company is also actively developing the next generation of Cirque du Soleil shows for the Strip, with further announcements to follow. Cirque du Soleil is working closely with the artists, technicians and staff of Mad Apple on transition support, including redeployment opportunities across the company's global productions where possible. Ticket holders for performances after the final show date will be contacted directly by their point of purchase with refund or exchange information. |
