Circa Sports awards third quarter contest payouts13 December 2022(PRESS RELEASE) -- This weekend, Circa Sports awarded $275,000 in prizes amongst four third quarter winners for its record-setting Circa Million IV pro football contest. The first-place prize of $250,000 was divided in a three-way tie between the following contestants: PANZER (alias), BRADSHAW (alias) and MACHINE (alias); each holding a record of 17-3 during this quarter. The third quarter booby prize of $25,000 was awarded to BETTING SOCIOPATH (alias). Circa Million IV will deliver $6 million in guaranteed total prizes, with a $1 million first place prize that comes with a coveted, handmade Circa Sports blue jacket. The contest includes no rake, and any extra entry fees go back into the prize pool. $3.65 million will be allocated amongst places two through 100 and $300,000 of prizes per quarter will be awarded every four to five weeks. The full season last place booby prize winner will receive $100,000 and second to last place booby prize winner will receive $50,000. To compete, each player must make five professional football picks against the spread each week. One point is awarded for each correct selection and one-half point for each push. Each entry for Circa Million IV is $1,000, with a maximum of three entries per person. Along with Circa Million IV, Circa Sports is also hosting its popular Circa Survivor pro football contest. It returned with a hefty $6,133,000 payout for the last entry standing. A $1 million undefeated bonus prize will be gifted for any entry that goes 20-0 without selecting the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals during the contest season.
