Churchill Downs Incorporated announces board resignation

19 December 2014

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Churchill Downs Incorporated (CHDN) (CDI or the Company) announced Leonard S. Coleman, Jr., has resigned from the Company's Board of Directors effective December 17, 2014. Mr. Coleman, who also serves on Electronic Arts Inc.'s Board of Directors, has elected to resign from CDI's Board of Directors to avoid any appearance of a potential conflict of competitive interest following CDI's acquisition of Big Fish Games that was completed earlier this week.

"Len has made a significant contribution to the success of CDI since joining our Board in 2001," said Robert L. Evans, CDI's Chairman of the Board. "A true horseracing fan, I'm sure we'll see Len at Churchill Downs Racetrack throughout the year and on Kentucky Oaks and Derby weekend."

"I'm very proud of what the company has accomplished and want to thank the shareholders and other directors for the opportunity to be of service," said Len Coleman. "I wish CDI nothing but success in the years ahead."
