Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino lays off employees

COARSEGOLD, California -- Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino has laid off most of its employees, KFSN reported.

A dispute between different tribal leaders has led to the closure of the casino, the report said.

The National Indian Gaming Commission and the Federal Government are now engaged in a mediation process with the various disputing factions, KFSN said.
