Chips Are Down: Jailed High-Roller Warns of Casino Risk

AUSTRALIA -- As reported by the Sunday Times: "Crown Casino's biggest gambler was blowing more than $10 million a visit before being jailed for 42 years.

"High-flying Singapore executive Chia Teck Leng has detailed staggering losses at the Melbourne casino.

"Chia bet the house maximum of $280,000 a hand on Crown's private blackjack tables during 50 trips over three years.

"He was arrested in 2003 and jailed over a global fraud that saw $190 million in stolen funds stashed in his Crown membership account.

"In a tell-all story of his downfall, written from behind bars in Singapore's Changi Prison, Chia warns of the perils of high-roller gambling.
