Children's Game Linked to Online Casino

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australian: "A children's computer game given away in packets of Nutri-Grain is linked to a US-based internet casino.

"A nine-year-old Adelaide boy was preparing to play the motorcycle simulation on the G-rated disc with his father when the game asked him to link to a US-based internet casino.

"'I am stunned and annoyed,' said Mark Carey, the boy's father.

"No-pokies state MP Nick Xenophon has called on Kellogg's to recall the packets that contain the games.

"…Kellogg's Australia yesterday offered a full refund for the cost of the cereal packets if the game was returned.

"In a statement, Kellogg's said it became aware of the link to the casino in March last year but did not act on the discovery…"
