Chicago Video Gambling Machine Supplier Pleads Guilty

CHICAGO, Illinois – Nov. 16, 2000 – As reported by the Associated Press: "The head of a company that authorities say stocked restaurants and bars in Chicago suburbs with illegal video gambling machines pleaded guilty Thursday to gambling conspiracy and money laundering charges.

"Nicholas J. Ciotti, 57, of Melrose Park admitted he and employees of his All Games Amusement Co. regularly collected proceeds from numerous video gambling machines with names such as `Bingo' and `Joker Poker'.

"Prosecutors said at least 500 machines were placed in about 75 bars, restaurants and fraternal clubs in the suburbs of Stone Park, Northlake, Melrose Park, Franklin Park and River Grove…"
