Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes announce temporary closure of casino properties16 March 2020(PRESS RELEASE) -- After much careful consideration, the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes have made the decision to temporarily suspend casino operations at all six Lucky Star Casino locations beginning at 11:59 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2020. While there have been no cases of COVID-19 reported at any of our locations, the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes feel this decision is in the best interest for the health and well-being of our guests and associates. The convenience stores at Concho and Hammon will remain open and operating at their normal hours to provide goods and take-out food to the surrounding communities. During this closure, casino associates will continue to be paid and receive benefits and the casinos will undergo a professional cleaning and sterilization to ensure a safe environment when operations resume. We will continue to provide updates via our website and social media channels as we continue to monitor this rapidly changing situation. The staff and management at Lucky Star Casino would like to thank you for your understanding during this difficult time and we look forward to seeing you once again in April. |
