Chester casino to open next week

CHESTER, Pennsylvania – As reported by the Phoenix: "Gaming enthusiasts and newcomers have one more week before they can face off against those one-armed bandits, as Harrah's said Monday that it plans to open its Chester casino in the middle of next week.

"With Chester residents buzzing about the city's first gaming facility, Harrah's said it expects a large crowd for the casino's first day.

"…The casino floor at Harrah's measures 100,000 square feet, and will feature games such as Hot Shot, Wheel of Fortune and Flames of Olympus.

"…In addition to the games, there will be plenty of food at Harrah's six restaurants and three lounges. The casino will also feature 11,000 square feet of banquet space and a simulcast area…"
