SALLISAW, Oklahoma – As reported by the Muskogee Phoenix: "It's the first day of work for 150 people Wednesday, as Cherokee Casino Sallisaw opens its doors to the public for the first time at noon.

"The spacious 22,000-square-foot casino will be alive with entertainment and excitement, boasting 220 electronic games, nine poker and blackjack tables, live music and the Back 40 Bar and Grill, which is certain to the biggest hunger.
