Cherokee Casino features weekend of rock20 September 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Bikers traveling to northwest Arkansas for the Bikes Blues & BBQ festival won’t have to go far to hear great music once they get there, as Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs features three rock bands back-to-back 27-29 September. Mickey Thomas, the owner of the soaring voice that propelled the band Starship to the top of the charts in the '80s and '90s, has established himself as one of rock music’s most recognizable stars. On 27 September, Thomas takes the stage for a free show in SEVEN Bar at 8 p.m. With hits like “No Way Out,” “We Built This City” and the No. 1s “Jane” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” the show is sure to kick the weekend off with a bang. The entertainment venue goes on a journey through the blues on 28 September, when Tommy Katona returns with the premier Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute in the nation, Texas Flood. The free show kicks off in Seven Bar at 8 p.m. Listen to the Music – The Doobie Brothers Experience is a re-creation and tribute to the famous 1970s rock band. The band takes the SEVEN Bar stage for a free show on 29 September at 9 p.m. and is set to rock The Doobie Brothers fan favorites, including “Black Water,” “The Doctor,” “What a Fool Believes” and, of course, “Listen to the Music.” |
