Chef Guoming “Sam” Xin joins SAHARA Las Vegas culinary roster3 March 2020(PRESS RELEASE) -- SAHARA Las Vegas recently welcomed Chef Guoming “Sam” Xin, renowned for his hand-pulled noodles and as the founder of the popular Noodle Man restaurant concept, to the resort’s award-winning culinary team. In his new role, Chef Sam will sit at the helm of an all-new Chinese culinary concept that will launch at SAHARA Las Vegas later this year. That concept will boast an array of traditional Northern Chinese dishes as well as a demonstration kitchen featuring Chef Sam’s famous hand-pulled noodles. “We are delighted to welcome Chef Sam to the team. I can think of no one better to help us round out our restaurant portfolio by adding his fresh new take on the traditional Chinese dining concept,” said Anthony Olheiser, SAHARA Las Vegas vice president of food and beverage. “We are continuing to add to our talent roster here at SAHARA Las Vegas to create a culinary experience that is unmatched anywhere else on the Las Vegas Strip. Chef Sam is an integral component to delivering on that promise.” Chef Sam began his career more than two decades ago in ZhengZhou, China where he opened his first restaurant, Noodle City. He received his certification as a Senior Noodle Technician in Beijing before heading for the bright lights of Las Vegas. In the more than 11 years since moving to the U.S., Chef Sam has held senior roles at some of the destination’s finest resorts and restaurants including Wynn Las Vegas, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Caesars Palace. In 2015, he launched Noodle Man in Las Vegas, a newly imagined Northern Chinese culinary concept featuring Chef Sam’s famous hand-pulled noodles. |
