Charlton wants lawmakers to create fair opportunity16 July 2010CHARLTON, Massachusetts -- State legislators may be consumed with the casino bill, but Charlton is concurrently asking for a fair shot, The Telegram reported. There are some differences between the Senante and House bill around zoning and the numbers of casinos, if the House bill is adopted Charlton is concerned about how to compete fairly with Boston, the report said. Charlton came second to Boston in a study that looked at potential casino sites by the Seminole tribe, the report noted. |
