Charlie Berens at North Star22 June 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- North Star Mohican Casino Resort has announced that tickets are now available for comedian, host and Emmy award-winning journalist Charlie Berens show on 8 September at 8 pm. “Charlie is a dynamic young talent, and we’re thrilled to have him play our venue,” said Michael Bonakdar, General Manager of North Star Mohican Casino Resort. “The fact that he’s a Milwaukee native makes his appearance even more special.” Best known as the creator and star of “Manitowoc Minute,” Berens has transformed what began as an online video series into an hour-long variety show. As a contributor for everything from Funny or Die and TBS Digital to Fox Sports 1 and a host for shows on Fox, CBS Sports and Variety networks, Berens will bring all facets of his unique blend of journalism and comedy to the larger venue setting. Berens began his career with MTV while still in college. Currently, his Funny or Die features, which include “If Jack Dawson Was Really From Wisconsin,” have garnered more than 13 million views. He also performs standup in the Los Angeles area and occasionally hosts events for Samsung and Variety. Tickets for the show are $15 and can be purchased online. |
