Centerparcs Eyes Casino Move

UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by Ananova: "Holiday village operator CenterParcs UK has joined the throng of companies interested in cashing in on moves to deregulate the gaming industry.

"The group confirmed it had launched a study into the feasibility of introducing casinos at its sites, although it stressed the project would not go ahead if it was thought to put off its core family market.

"The investigation by PricewaterhouseCoopers comes ahead of a relaxation in gaming rules, likely to be introduced next year or at the start of 2006.

"…Should CenterParcs press ahead with its interest, it is likely to begin with a trial casino at one of its four sites…"
