CBS Sports Network to televise 2016 Super High Roller Bowl

12 May 2016

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Poker Central has announced that CBS Sports Network will air the Super High Roller Bowl, a $15 million poker championship created and produced by Poker Central.

CBS Sports Network will air 30 hours of the Super High Roller Bowl from May 29 through June 1, live from Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The event marks one of the very few times that a major poker tournament will air live on television.

The Super High Roller Bowl has a prize pool of $15 million with a buy-in of $300,000. Famed poker players scheduled to compete include Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, and Antonio Esfandiari, as well as all of last year's Super High Roller Bowl million dollar winners: Brian Rast, Scott Seiver, Connor Drinan, Timofey Kuznetsov, David Peters and Tom Marchese. The full list of players is available on SuperHighRoller.com.

The Super High Roller Bowl was sold out quickly, in a matter of weeks, well in advance of the May 29 start date.

"I've never seen a high stakes tournament sell out three months in advance," said Sean McCormack, ARIA's Director of Poker Operations. "It's unprecedented!"

"We are excited to bring this world championship event to CBS Sports Network," said Clint Stinchcomb, CEO of Poker Central. "With $15 million on the line and the world's best players, including the top four all-time money winners as well six former No. 1 ranked players, the Super High Roller Bowl will have audiences glued to the game."
