Casinos reportedly lost revenue due to cost-savings plan4 February 2015BRITISH COLUMBIA -- B.C casinos allegedly suffered lost revenue from a botched cost-savings program, The Province reported. The financial botch up is believed to have occurred because of voluntary staff reductions which did not produce savings, the report said. It's estimated to have cost $25 million with local governments who receive 10 percent of gaming revenue missing out because of "extraordinary expenses" that the misguided program caused, according to The Province report.
