Casino Workers Turn in Bank Robbery Suspect

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana -- As reported by KTBS: "A man suspected in the robbery of a Baton Rouge bank has been arrested after being recognized by employees of a casino in Bossier City.

"Employees at Isle of Capri casino recognized Clarence Lydell Davis, 49, of New Orleans, based on photos they had been shown. Still images taken from surveillance video of the March 25 robbery had been distributed in Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana.

"Investigators said Davis is accused of robbing the Whitney National Bank by demanding money from a teller who believed Davis had a gun because his hands were in his pockets..."
